Pete and I spent the day up in the area around Peak Lake up by Mount Arrowsmith looking for elk and bears to photograph. We saw a few but they were very skittish and went into the heavy timber as soon as we spotted them. We did get some nice scenery shots though!

So finally!!! Here it is. Canon has released the long awaited 40D. They sure like to keep everyone in the dark when it comes to releasing new cameras. There are some pretty major changes but I have to admit I was expecting 12mp's as well. I am going to have read some hands-on reviews to see how well the "Live Preview" actually works and where it would be most practical to use. I will have to look long and hard to decide if I will get one this year. But of course if I I do get one then I can finally convert my 20D to black and white infrared!
Here is a link to one of first previews I found out on the web on dpreview.com
